The Order of Time

Genuinely thoughtful overview of what we know about time, and about how a lot of things we take for granted (the distinction between past and future, the existence of a 'present' at all) are not entirely real. I particularly liked the fact that there is no such thing as 'now' on a distant star, and that outside the 'light' cone of a particular perspective, you can't meaningfully say whether an event happens before or after 'now'.

That said, the flowery poetic stuff feels a bit bolted on, and at times distracts more than it helps.
